*Milk & Honey Soap

Price

$10.00

Milk & Honey is a highly moisturizing, chemical-free goat milk soap bar that provides optimal hydration by penetrating the pores for maximum effectiveness available in two varieties: scented and unscented. Both types are creamy, rich with antioxidants, gently exfoliate, and both moisturize the skin. This unique soap combines antibacterial ingredients. Unlike commercial soaps, which are synthetic, this soap is free of ingredients reported to contain carcinogens, such as formaldehyde, or irritants, such as sulfates, that can strip the skin of its natural oils.

Non-scented soap benefits babies who have not yet developed their sense of smell, as strong fragrances can overwhelm a baby’s senses, potentially harming developing lungs or increasing the risk of skin irritations from perfumes.

Benefits of honey soap:

  • Hydrates, has humectant properties, and keeps skin soft and supple
  • Anti-inflammatory helps to calm and soothe inflamed skin from eczema or rosacea
  • Antioxidants combat oxidative stress, a key factor in skin aging
  • Heals minor cuts, scrapes, and burns, such as sunburns
  • Exfoliates, leaving your skin glowing

Fresh & Natural Ingredients

Size: 4oz / 113g

Ingredients:

Unfiltered goat milk, coconut, olive, castor, almond, grapeseed oils, organic Bulgarian lavender essential oil, sandalwood herb powder, kaolin clay, USP-grade sodium hydroxide

  • Coconut, olive, almond, grapeseed, and castor oils are potent oils that protect against the sun’s harmful UVA and UVB rays, maintain a healthy glow, tighten skin, and treat acne. These oils produce a creamy lather rich in vitamins A, B, E, & K.
  • Organic raw goat milk is A2 type milk, which means that A2 milk is a standard term for conventional raw goat milk lacking the protein beta-casein that negatively affects the digestive system. A2 raw milk has not been pasteurized or heat-treated, is free from toxins and preservatives, and is a standard procedure for commercially produced milk for human consumption. Raw goat milk is rich in alpha-hydroxy acids and exfoliants that dissolve the “glue” holding dead skin cells to the surface, revealing brighter, smoother skin by promoting cell turnover, improving texture, fading dark spots, and reducing fine lines. This makes it a great anti-aging and acne treatment. The downside to alpha-hydroxy acids is that it can make the skin sensitive to sun exposure; however, selenium minerals, which are part of goat milk, are powerful antioxidants that protect skin cells from damage by free radicals and environmental toxins, and sun damage with selenium mineral goat milk helps maintain skin elasticity, support cell renewal, and reduce inflammation. This is how sun-damaged skin is not just left unhealed but actually restored. Using zinc oxide or titanium dioxide, which are considered carcinogens, can harm the skin’s structure through a “baking effect”. When combined with alpha-hydroxy acids and selenium minerals, these two work together to strengthen the skin's healing process and provide a potent hydrator that attracts and retains moisture, helping to fight signs of aging like wrinkles and dark spots. In combination, alpha-hydroxy acids and selenium minerals work synergistically to restore what each lacks. These powerful hydrators draw moisture into the skin and support repair, fighting premature wrinkles and dark spots.
  • Unfiltered honey in soap acts as a gentle cleanser suitable for all skin types. It also naturally exfoliates, brightens, and tones the skin by removing dead skin cells, resulting in a glowing complexion. Moreover, raw honey is a popular ingredient because of its humectant properties, which help attract and retain moisture. Honey is highly versatile, providing gentle exfoliation and antibacterial benefits while brightening and toning the skin.
  • Organic Bulgarian lavender essential oil is sourced from Bulgaria, known for its rich, floral, and fruity scent. Here, the plant is cultivated in a unique climate characterized by hot, dry summers and mild winters, with abundant sunshine and well-draining soil. These conditions maximize the essential oil concentration in the plant, leading to high-quality lavender. It's not just any oil; it promotes cell growth when applied to wounds, helping them heal faster thanks to its antimicrobial effects and protective properties.
  • Sandalwood is an herb powder that has “powers” in both physical and spiritual contexts, related to its calming and cooling properties. Spiritually, it’s used in meditations to enhance focus and tranquility, and to connect with the divine. Physically, it can be used to soothe skin irritations, calm the mind, and has potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It is both physical and spiritual, considered related to its calming and ling properties.
  • Kaolin clay is the oldest clay used in many personal hygiene products. It is gentle and promotes circulation to the application area without over-drying.
  • known as ‘soap’. Lye is also used in food processing, such as curing olives and making toothpaste, as well as giving shine to German Bagels.
  • Sodium hydroxide, food-grade USP, is a strong alkaline compound used to saponify soap. It is also used in food processing, such as curing olives and making toothpaste, as well as giving shine to German Bagels. This same lye turns oils into soap. When an acid and a base (oil/fat) combine, they neutralize each other and make a salt called “Soap.

The healthiest soap to use is usually a natural soap that doesn’t contain harsh chemicals, synthetic fragrances, or irritants. Choosing soaps with moisturizing ingredients, such as olive oil, coconut oil, or goat’s milk, is especially beneficial for dry skin because hydration occurs through hygroscopicity, which draws and retains moisture from the environment, thereby increasing hydration.
