Starting Point: To smoothly transition from a previous facial serum, begin by mixing equal parts of Perfect Avenue Botanical Renewal Facial Serum for about a week.

To measure a pea-sized amount for this formulation, use a 1/4-inch-diameter dollop (about the size of a pencil eraser or the tip of a pinky finger) and mix it with the previous serum in equal parts.

Gradually decrease the previous serum while increasing the new one. This method helps your skin’s outer layer to hydrate and adapt gently, without disturbing the Acidic Mantle, the skin’s pH film that sits on top of the skin. Mild irritation, breakouts, or redness may occur initially as temporary reactions to the new ingredients. If these symptoms persist beyond three weeks, discontinue use, as they could indicate an allergic reaction.

Daily Use: After washing, apply a pea-sized amount of Perfect Avenue Botanical Renewal Facial Serum to the hands, then gently pat it onto the face, neck, and behind the ears. Using the serum on damp skin is highly effective because it improves absorption, locks in moisture, and promotes even product distribution, sealing in hydration. Any remaining serum can also be applied to the hands. During warm to hot weather, our serum is a very silky, thin butter and is affected by heat. The average melting point is 30-35 °C and 86-97°F.  Quality is still good; however, it is better to receive a product that is not totally liquified. If, when delivered, there is some melt in the serum, weather is unpredictable during the end and beginning of seasons, give it a good, vigorous shake to reconstitute the ingredients, then place it in the refrigerator or freezer; it will harden and be ready to use.
